General Program Information
What sets Achieve Online apart from other online schools?
Achieve Online is led by certified teachers through Colorado Springs District 11, ensuring students receive professional, high-quality instruction rather than learning through a corporate platform. We offer a unique tutoring center for face-to-face support and are the only online school in the area offering instruction in Music, Art, and Physical Education. With a low student-to-teacher ratio and the opportunity to earn an official District 11 diploma, students graduate with a credential respected by colleges and employers alike.

What’s the difference between homeschooling and Achieve Online?
In homeschooling, parents serve as the primary teachers and are responsible for providing all instructional materials and curriculum. At Achieve Online, students are taught by fully certified and trained teachers who deliver instruction just as they would in a traditional classroom. Students, parents, and teachers work collaboratively to ensure academic success. While most students study from home, Achieve Online also offers a tutoring center for in-person learning and support. Additionally, Achieve Online is fully accredited in Colorado and provides official records, transcripts, and diplomas.

Attendance, Policies, and Student Life
If my student is ill or cannot log in on a given day, is it possible to excuse their absence?
One of the benefits of Achieve Online is the flexibility to fit schoolwork around appointments, activities, and family needs. However, if your student is unable to log in at all on a particular day, parents must call the homeroom teacher to excuse the absence. Please note that written emails are not accepted for excusing absences, so be sure to contact your homeroom teacher directly for their specific policies.
How do students interact socially?
Achieve Online offers multiple opportunities for social interaction. Students are welcome to visit our learning lab to connect in person with teachers and peers. Additionally, our online platform includes discussion forums and interactive activities to encourage collaboration and communication.
